Original Starter 1955 Willys Jeep MDY7039S working condition:

This came out of a 1955 Willys M38 jeep. The starter was working fine and the system was converted to 12V but this could be a 24V starter but I dont have a way to check this. Bendix drive works well and it looks like someone has replaced it.the gear has 9 teeth and the housing has a tag that says MDY 7039S
