These are designed for the hangar, mancave, she-shed, pilots, A&P's & toolbox swag use.These are tough and water resistant and can be put on steel tumblers and washed.
This decal sticker is made of paper free durable paint material and features a design specific to the Piper Cub & Piper Tri Pacer aircraft.

Application Instructions:

• Prepare the Surface: Clean the painted area thoroughly withisopropyl alcoholand a lint-free cloth to remove oils, dust, or fingerprints. Ensure the surface is completely dry.
• Burnish the Decal: Before peeling, place the decal face-down on a flat surface and rub the back firmly with asqueegeeor credit card. This ensures the design is fully transferred from the backing to the clear carrier film.
• Position Carefully: Align the decal before removing the backing. For larger designs, you can usemasking tapeon one side to create a "hinge" for exact placement.
• Peel the Backing: Gently peel away the backing at a sharp angle to reveal the adhesive side. Avoid touching the adhesive to prevent marks or weakened bonding.
• Apply and Secure: Lay the adhesive side onto the surface, starting from the center and working outward to avoid air bubbles. Press down firmly across the entire design with your squeegee.
• Remove Carrier Film: Slowly peel back the clear top film at a low angle. If any part of the design lifts, lay the film back down, rub it again firmly, and continue peeling.
• Final Cure: Once the film is removed, let the decal sit for at least24 hoursto allow the adhesive to reach maximum strength before heavy use or washing.

Expert Tips for Success

• Rough Surfaces: For slightly textured paints, you can use a hair dryer or heat gun tolightly warmthe decal, helping it conform better to the surface.
• Bubble Removal: If small air bubbles remain, use a pin to gently puncture them and press the air out toward the hole.
• Care: While these decals are water resistant, to maximize longevity,hand washthe item only and avoid using it in a microwave or dishwasher. (We have tested them in our dishwasher and have had excellent results, but the supplier says hand wash only).
