Shipping
For items shipped via LTL Freight.
Our freight carrier requires a commercial business address with a loading dock or forklift to unload the truck. Most of our customers choose to ship directly to the shop that is installing their part as long as it is a commercial business address.
If you cannot provide a commercial business address we offer a residential delivery service at a small extra charge to cover a lift gate and residential fee.
For small items we ship they will ship with UPS or USPS with live tracking information. You will receive an email with tracking information as soon as your part ships. Please allow 1-5 business days for your part to arrive.
Returns
If you need to return an item please when you open the return choose "I CHANGED MY MIND". Since we offer free returns you will not be responsible for returning it. Once you select that return reason a label will be issued.
We offer quality tested auto parts. We also offer the best warranty program in the industry.
Our knowledgeable staff is available to assist you with friendly service. We answer all questions promptly during normal business hours.

About Us
The Y-Yard Auto & Truck Inc is a state of the art automotive recycling center located in Effingham, Illinois. Opening our doors on July 1, 1970, the Y-Yard’s massive inventory occupies over 45 acres of the company’s 60 acre business. From domestic to import, cars-trucks-vans-and SUV’s, we continually strive at redefining the expectations of a recycled part.
From product purchase through the inventory process to warehousing the parts and to the point of sale, our completely computerized systems provide fast answers in the most efficient ways. We provide multiple avenues for nationwide parts locating, as well as a variety of options for statewide delivery.
For over 40 years now, the Y-Yard continues to be a locally owned, locally operated business. Managed now by the second generation, the foundation of the business remains the same; a business built on hard work, honesty and integrity but the most important priority has always been customer satisfaction.
