These tail lights are not a direct fit for:
* US-spec Civic FA1, FA3 or FA5 sedans
* Civic FG1 or FG2 two-door coupes
* Civic FN or FK hatchbacks
* Civic Type R FN2 hatchback
* China-market 2006–2011 Dongfeng Honda Civic with US-style rear lights
* 2012 and newer ninth-generation Civic models
Installation on a US-spec Civic requires an FD/JDM rear-end conversion and may involve changes to the trunk lid, mounting points, connectors, and wiring.
