This blanket was specifically designed to alleviate thecommon heat issues that most turbo Subaru setups have with the up-pipe. It is made with a ½” thick 2500 degreeceramic inner layer, so it has no problems cutting down heat.
The up-pipe blanket will fit most all stock and aftermarketup pipes, however it does not have a cut out for the EGT bung. If you prefer to use y9our EGT you can laceand maneuver the blanket in such a way that it will work around the EGT.
This turbo blanket shield was made in Cincinnati, OH,USA. We do not offer the cheaply madeChinese blankets that most other sellers do on .
The blankets are all handmade with the finest of materials. Our blankets are made of high temperatureceramic insulation and a high temperature shell, they are bound together withvery high temperature thread (something the cheap blankets skimp on causingthem to fall apart). All together wehave made a blanket that will resist direct temps of 2500 degrees.
Our heat blankets are easy to install and are very durablefor keeping the heat in and increasing exhaust velocity in turn creatinghorsepower by helping the turbo spool up quicker.
