This is a new reproduction hood release handle for Ferrari 456, 550 Maranello/Barchetta and 575M/Superamerica models. The original factory handle is very fragile and tends to break. Our handle is a direct-fit replacement that has been redesigned with additional reinforcements in critical areas. It is much stronger than the original and will hold up to repeated use. Replaces Ferrari part numbers63726300, 63726500, 65278000, and 65278100.
Our handle is made from tough black PA12 plastic with a matte, slightly textured surface. There is no “soft touch” coating applied, so it will not flake and become sticky over time like the originals. Please note that this handle slightly differs in appearance from the original item. The texture and material color is slightly different and there is no open hood icon applied to the handle.
