Up for sale is an original factory-original Front Hood/Grille Header Emblem for a classic 1954 to early 1955 (1st Series) Chevrolet Pickup Truck or Suburban. This is a genuine GM die-cast metal core piece featuring the embossed "CHEVROLET" block text and the iconic bowtie housing at the top center.Front Side: The chrome plating retains a highly impressive, mirror-like shine with very minimal visible surface pitting or fine scratches for its age. Please note that the original factory paint/screen printing (which originally featured a blue bowtie and red accent stripes) has been completely cleaned off over the years. The stamped lettering remains perfectly crisp, making it an excellent candidate for a simple restoration decal kit.Back Side: Shows natural vintage surface rust, scaling, and road grime accumulation as expected from an authentic barn-find auto part.
