Here is a super nice, new old stock, vintage Wayne locking gas cap that was manufactured in the U.S.A back in 1957. I say it was manufactured in 1957 because that is the only year listed on the box, although it fits some newer models.
The exterior of the cap stainless steel. Keys are aluminum. The keyhole cover is chromed steel.
The box describes it as being for cars with a 1 3/8" diameter filler neck.
Gasket is still nice and pliable. Keys work properly.
Really great unused condition. You have to look closely to see the tiniest flaws. No dents or major damage.
I have to mention minor flaws because people are so meticulous about chrome. It really is very nice.

1957-1959......Plymouth (except station think Wayne made gas pumps. I don't know if this is from the same company or not.
