Greetings, and thank you for your interest in this working fuel pressure regulator, which I recently removed from a 1992 Cadillac Allante. It had the 4.5-liter V8 engine, and my research shows that this same regulator is used on 1987-1988 Allantes with the 4.1-liter V8 engine. To be on the safe side, please be sure that the number on your current regulator is also 82926.
The photos show that this regulator to be in excellent condition. There are no dents, gouges, deep scratches, cracks, or missing pieces. The only minor scratches are by the two mounting holes.
The black vacuum port holds vacuum with a vacuum gauge. All fuel ports and passages are clean and clear, and open and close as they should.
Included are the stainless-steel mounting hardware and Shrader valve cap. The original O-Rings are soft and pliable and were removed for photos then reinstalled. Neither show any damage. Gas drained from the regulator when I removed it from the donor car, with no evidence of leakage.
I did not install it on my 1992 Allante for testing, but since it holds vacuum, I am confident it will continue to work without issues. If not, please let me know.
