The XDP X220 Series Head Stud Kit XD3006HS is a must have for your high performance 2001-2016 GM 6.6L Duramax LB7/LLY/LBZ/LMM/LML. The OEM head bolts typically can\'t handle the pressure from high-horsepower applications. Constructed using 8740 Chrome Moly with an added proprietary element ensures these studs are more durable and will not stretch like the factory bolts. The threads are rolled after heat-treating to deliver optimum fatigue strength. These studs are rated at 225,000+ psi tensile strength and 205,000+ yield strength to keep your cylinder heads from lifting under higher combustion pressures. Assembly lubricant sold separately.

A conventional bolt gets twisted as it is tightened, so it\'s reacting to two different forces at the same time. With a stud the force gets applied to the vertical axis, resulting in a more even clamping force which allows you to obtain a more accurate torque reading. These studs are a must-have for high-horsepower applications and are reusable, unlike the OEM Torque-To-Yield (TTY) bolts which must be replaced after each use. Another benefit of studs is they provide for easier engine assembly and proper alignment of the cylinder heads every time. These studs are manufactured in an ISO/TS 16949 quality control facility. Returns

ReturnsAll of our parts and accessories are returnable and refundable. You MUST contact us within 30 days of the shipment date in order for us to accept a return. The item in which you are returning MUST be unused, uninstalled, in the original condition, and in the original packaging. To begin the return process you MUST contact us to obtain an RA number and RA form (if applicable) prior to sending the item back. Returns will be jeopardized at the customer?s expense if they are sent back without a return authorization number. All returned items are subject to a restocking fee of up to 20%. Labor, installation, surcharges or any other applicable fees from the original purchase are non-refundable. If you are returning an item due to an error caused by Rudy\'s Performance Parts or its business partners (i.e., damaged or defective items, incorrect part shipped, etc.), we will cover all freight charges on the replacement items. We will not be able to send out a replacement part without payment. You are welcome to pay for a replacement item and then receive a refund when the original item is received back, otherwise, we won\'t be able to send a replacement until the original item is back. If you are sending an item back, we recommend using a service with tracking and signature confirmation. Refunds will be credited back using the method you used to initially pay for the item less any applicable restocking fees. Refunds will be credited within 7-10 business days after the item has been received back to our warehouse and inspected.
