I have used these covers for several years as a supplement to my regular car cover when it rains. I have a large car and these covers cover the entire car down to the lower part of the wheels. I then use clothes pins and attach the plastic cover to the lower edge of my regular cover and the plastic cover stays in place even in the wind and this also prolongs the life of the regular cover..
