The Dodge Durango Shelby SP360 was a limited edition performance variant of the Dodge DurangoIntroduced for the 1999 model year, the SP360 was powered by a 5.9L Magnum V8. This engine produced 360hp, leading to the model's name (SP stands for Super Pursuit). While these SUVs wear the Shelby name, neither Carroll Shelby or Shelby American helped in developing the SP360, it was merely a marketing agreement to use his name. Originally, a total of 3,000 examples were planned, but various issues caused production to be limited to around 300 before the model was discontinued in 2000.
