1982-1992 3rd Gen Camaro / Firebird 3-Row Radiator Upper Support Bracket/Shroud:
$89.00

This is a custom-designed upper radiator support/shroud intended for use in 3rd gen Camaro and Firebirds (1982-1992) with aftermarket, 3-row radiators. This replaces the original plastic top shroud with the hose hooks on the back side which don\'t really fit well with aftermarket aluminum radiators or LS swaps.Made of high quality aluminum with a \"mill finish\" face, it has a polished or shiny look to it. This looks great butbut like all raw aluminum partsit may have faint scratches or unavoidable marks from the machining process & shipping.
DOES NOT INCLUDE ANYTHING ELSE - JUST THE CUSTOM-MADE ALUMINUM BRACKET. NOT A FULL RADIATOR! THIS IS NOT A FULL RADIATOR, IT\'S THE RADIATOR TOP SUPPORT PIECE!
The piece is 100% MADE IN NORTH CAROLINA, USA and they were professionally and precisely laser cut and bent.
Unlike the other aluminum upper bracket on which costs sixty bucks more, mine is perfectly angled so that there is space to add rubber isolators underneath, as well as pre-drilled holes at the ends for isolators if you\'d like to use them. Note that you will need to trim rubber isolators to fit - I recommend just getting some cheap generic radiator top rubber pieces like Amazon item B09YTKKSZH and then just cutting them with a utility knife to fit the way you\'d like.
The material is 14 gauge 5052 Aluminum and it\'s very tough and sturdy - plus, it\'s easy to drill if you want to add hose support brackets or other items to it. No hose bracket is included - notice in the photo how I used a hose clamp to hold my hose - that is a 1-1/2\" hose clamp. You\'ll need to find a way to mount them, I did not want to add too many drill holes since everyones build is different - on my build, I mounted the hose bracket to an unused screw hole on the top of the radiator itself.
There is another manufacturer who makes a 3-row upper shroud for the 3rd gen Camaro and it\'s a nice product, but I never felt the price was appropriate for what is basically a bent piece of metal. So, I designed my own in Fusion360 and had a small run of these manufactured for other 3rd gen owners like me.
I am not a big business, I\'m just a guy with an \'83 Firebird with a 6.0 LQ4 \"LS Swap\" that is an accurate replica of KITT from Kight Rider, and I wanted to be able to get just the part that I needed for my build. The photos are of this exact product on my car, which is using an generic aluminum 3-row 3rd gen rad.
