BONOSS Wheel Spacer Professional Design-BLA Series
BONOSS BLA Series Installation Tips:
1.Remove wheel bolts and wheel.
2.Place BONOSS Spacer on hub of car (where the wheel was attached) making sure that the spacer is fully seated and flush with the hub.
3.Fasten BLA spacer to car using supplied special bolts. Carefully hand turn bolts making sure that they spin in easily so as to not cross-thread. Repeat with the remaining bolts.
4.With hand wrench, snug up the bolts in a star.
5.Tighten bolts in a star pattern using torque wrench set to manufacturers specification.
6.Make sure no bolt heads protrude past spacer.
7.Place wheel onto the spacer and carefully line up the wheel / spacer bolt holes and mounting hole.
8.Carefully hand turn bolts making sure that they spin in easily so as to not cross-thread.
9.Repeat step 8 with the remaining bolts.
10.With hand wrench, snug up the bolts in a star pattern.
11.Before fully tightening, spin the wheel and tire to check for any noise or interference.
12.Tighten the wheel bolts in a star pattern with a torque wrench set to wheel manufacturers specifications.Safety Guidelines as Follow:
1.What is the Tightening Torque for 12.9 Grade M12/M14 Bolts?
M12:110-130NM, Reference113NM(83.3Ft-tb), Steel Wheels and Aluminum Wheels are same.
M14:180-201NM, Reference 181NM(133.5Ft-tb) for Steel Wheels or 140NM (103.5Ft-tb) for Aluminum Wheels.2.Minimum number of turns for wheel bolts / nuts:
M12 x 1.25 = 8.0 turns = approx. 10 mm of load bearing shaft length
M12 x 1.50 = 6.5 turns = approx. 10 mm of load bearing shaft length
M14 x 1.25 = 9.0 turns = approx. 12mm of load bearing shaft length
M14 x 1.50 = 7.5 turns = approx. 12 mm of load bearing shaft length
1/2" UNF = 8.0 turns = approx. 11 mm of load bearing shaft length How to Check the Thickness You Need?
