Action Clutch single disc clutch kits contain a range of Street to High Performance clutch systems which out perform the competition. All stage kits are built using American materials which are all locally sourced here in Los Angeles as we have been doing for 60 years. Each stage kit has its own advantages as well as its own formulated friction materials. As you move up in our staged kits, the clamping force of the pressure plate increases in order to provide more torque capacity, this is achieved all while maintaining a comfortable pedal feel.

All of our staged kits come complete with the clutch disc, pressure plate, throwout / release bearing, pilot bearing / bushing (when applicable), and alignment tool. Components may be purchased individually as well.

The Action Clutch 1MD Stage 4 Kit uses their extremely durable, High Performance MIBA Unsprung Ceramic Disc. This kit features a single diaphragm heavy-duty pressure plate with reinforced drive straps for increased durability. This kit has an on and off engagement and is recommended for strictly race purposes. It is available in a 4 and 6 MIBA Ceramic puck configuration with the 4 puck being the more aggressive of the two. This MIBA Unsprung Ceramic kit is engineered for low/mild horsepower vehicles. The Stage 4 MIBA Unsprung Ceramic kit creates a quick engagement as well as some clutch chatter, which should be fairly minimal once proper break-in is completed. After each kit is assembled, it goes through multiple quality checks before it is signed off by one of their lead engineers (50+ years combined experience).


Break-in Requirements
500 street miles / Keep RPM’s under 4500, no more than half-throttle, no boost (if applicable).
Proper break-in is required in order to retain product warranty, ensure longevity and holding capacity.

*Increase in holding capacity is rated in Crank Torque, not Wheel Torque.

DISCLAIMER: Using a clutch kit with an unsprung clutch disc on a stock or lightly modified power engine that is daily/street driven vehicle can break the rivets on the clutch disc hub. Using a clutch kit with an unsprung clutch disc on a stock or lightly modified power engine that is daily/street driven vehicle is not recommended and can cause premature failure. This can be compared to running a marathon in sandals vs a proper running shoe. If you were to run the marathon ins sandals, you have no cushion or comfort and can cause injuries or wear you down faster than using proper running shoes. With a rigid disc, excessive down shifting may result in premature clutch failure.

NOTE: Purchasing the wrong type of clutch kit for your specific engine power output can result in premature clutch failure, damage to the transmission and void warranty eligibility.

WARRANTY WARRANTY

Action Clutch warrants this product against defects in material or workmanship as follows:

Action Clutch will replace at no charge for parts only that proves defective because of improper workmanship. If Action Clutch is unable to provide a replacement and repair is not practical or cannot be made in a timely fashion, Action Clutch may elect to refund the purchase price in exchange for the return of the product.

Action Clutch offers a 90-day warranty from the original date of purchase. Action Clutch also offers a 30-day return policy with a 20% restocking fee.

Action Clutches warranty does not cover any problem that is caused by:

(1) Conditions, malfunctions or damage not resulting from defects in material or workmanship. (2) Conditions, malfunctions or damage resulting from (1) normal wear and tear, improper installation, improper maintenance, misuse, abuse, negligence, accident or alteration. (3) Accessories, connected materials and products, or related products not manufactured by Action Clutch. (4) Damaged input Shaft causing HUB to strip (5) Failure to resurface the flywheel will invalidate Warranty.
