If you have the older engine case and would like to install the newer Super Dio af27/28 large spline crank in to the older 1st gen Dio case, you will need this special Trans side seal. It is hard to find this trans side seal that is small but with a large center hole.Years ago we used to use an all rubber seal but with these new engines make so much power now, they don\'t last long. Our parts supplier found in Japan this size seal, but is fused to an outerMetal Ring. They found that these hold up longer than the all rubber seal we used to use. The Metal holds up better under the stress and heat.** Also included is the quality Japan brown seal for the Magneto side. Photo is an older one with the black seal. Our parts supplier only found a limited amount of these special Dio Crankshaft seals.
These Special Seals are in high demand because there are so many different large spline crankshafts compared to the smaller spline crankshaft. Stuffer Cranks, Mini Stroker Cranks and Stroker Cranks. This way you can install the new large spline Dio crankshaft into the older 1st gen Dio case.
