Places to look for your bike's key code:
- Stamped on your original keys.(see pics)- Stamped on the face of the ignition or lock. (see pics)- Stamped on the body of the ignition or lock, removal may be necessary to find the code. (see pics)-On a tag that came on the key ring with the original keys. (see pics)- Hand written in the original owners manual or paperwork.
The VIN contains no key code information.

The key you receive will look different than your current OEM key, it may be a bit longer, shorter or a different style head but will still work fine in your ignition or lock. If you have an ATV key with a rubber cover on the key head, the cover will not work on the key I make you.
