- 2012-2024 KX250\'s and 2012-2023 KX450\'s (250X/450X) havethree different engine maps that come loaded into the bikes ECU and are easily accessible through DFIcoupling plugs. These three color-coded couplers are specificallytuned for hard, medium or soft track surfaces, and allow riders to find the perfectpower delivery in any part of the throttle for anyterrain.
