Description: Box Packed Butyl Sealant Tape
Rubber Sealant is a black, non-drying, non-hardening synthetic rubber based butyl rubber sealant suitable for use as a placement sealant tape for re-sealing headlights after a retrofit or for installation between the glass and metal/plastic areas of automotive headlights/windscreen. It will remain permanently sealing and waterproofing.
Features:
- Material: Synthetic Butyl Rubber
- Color: Black
- Length: Approx. 4m 13ft. (enough for re-sealing about two - four headlight assemblies.)
- Thickness: Approx. 9mm 0.35\'\'
Package:
- 1Pcs x 13ft. Black Butyl Rubber Headlight Sealant Tape
- Well Packed in a Paper Box
Application:
- After removing the headlamp cover or windshield, the pinch weld areas should be dry, clean, free from dust, oil and grease. Release the sealant from the release paper and pressit sufficiently around the pinch weld for a complete contact.
- When properly positioned, the tape should be continuously attached to the pinch weld before you seal it with the other coupling part. The purpose of the sealer is to provide for a watertight seal. In cold weather conditions it is best to warm the tape prior to attempting the installation, as this will soften the tape allowing for better workability.
Wide Range of Application:
(1) Butyl tape can be stuck on any type of metal, concrete, glass, plastic and porous surface without fear of falling off.
(2) sealing or resealing car headlights, windshield, headlamp, air conditioners.
