Direct replacement for Lenco Marine 15270-001 LED Two-Piece Tactile Switch Kit, compatible with Lenco single actuator trim tab systems operating on 12V or 24V power. Ideal for upgrading or replacing existing switch kits without modifying wiring or system layout.
Two-Piece Low-Profile Design for Shallow Consoles
Designed with a shortened bezel and true two-piece configuration, making it ideal for shallow or crowded helm consoles where integrated switch modules (such as the 15170-001, which requires require over 4\" of clearance) are too deep to fit. The compact keypad has a total installed length of 2.75\". The remote-mounted control box allows flexible installation with reduced mounting depth.
Real-Time LED Position response with Self-Check
Dual high-intensity LED indicators provide clear, real-time trim tab position response at all times. The built-in Self-Check feature confirms proper system operation at startup, helping ensure reliable performance before heading out on the water.
Auto-Retract & Light-Sensing Backlit Keypad
Automatically retracts trim tabs to the full up position when power is removed, helping protect actuators during docking or trailering. An integrated photo eye adjusts LED brightness based on ambient light, while the fully backlit keypad ensures clear visibility day or night.
Marine-Grade Construction & Easy Installation
Fits a standard 2-1/16\" (5.24 cm) cut-out and includes a 38\" pigtail harness between the keypad and remote control box. Features a sealed, solid-state control box, waterproof keypad, and corrosion-resistant Deutsch connectors for reliable plug-and-play installation. Not compatible with Lenco systems manufactured in 2016 or earlier.
Warm Tips:
Orientation: Control Box MUST be mounted vertically with wires facing down.
Orange Wire: Connect to a 12/24V ON/OFF source (e.g., key switch); don\'t share a mechanical switch with main power.
Compatibility: NOT compatible with Lenco components manufactured in 2016 or earlier.
Wiring: Leave adequate slack in the Molex connection to prevent damage
