This is an original 1938 Ford glove box clock and retainer. Also included are some extra 1938-1939 clock parts as shown in the last2 photos of the clock and retainer. Someone has taken the trim ring off (not me) for some reason because the tabs that hold it on have been pried on.--See photos. Noneof the tabs are broken off. I have not taken it apart. From what I can see of the of the inside mechanism, it looks clean. The trim ring should clean up to driver quality. The glass looks good. The face looks good. Paint is flaking off the hands. The hands move when I pull the knob and turn it. I can hear a rattle when I shake it. The Retainer that holds it to the glove box door is nice.The extra parts (clock housing, internals and inner rim) are included because I don\'t need them anymore.
