This kit is to be used when installing a 1984-1993 A.O.D (Automatic Over Drive) transmission into an early model Mustang to retain the factory floor shift select lever.
Designed to allow the use of the original 1964-1973FordMustangOE C4, C6 automatic floor shifter select lever with a 1984-1993 A.O.D. automatic overdrive transmission. The gear select arm shaft assembly in the AOD transmission must be replaced with the one in this kit in order to ensure correct spacing and ratio with OE shifter lever, comes with detailed installation form.
