New 12pc 62-65 1964 Ford Fairlane Thunderbolt reproduction DST shock tower plate kit for the installation of big block engine or small block 351 and header clearance. This kit is designed to look similar to the original Fairlane modifications DST made during construction of the Thunderbolts but these kits are engineered to make the installation easy. All parts are pre formed, fitted and ready for welding to ease the Thunderbolt Shock Tower modifications. You only need to cut and trim the shock towers in the areas to fit these parts. The upper control arm towers/perches get a reinforcement plate that is .190in thick while the remaining kit pieces are. 125in thick. This kit is the only of its kind, better and safer then the original. Welding Required. Instructions and pictures provided with purchase. Made in the USA for your Thunderbolt clone.
