Please note, all my descriptions are written by me. No A.I. BS here that doesn\'t tell you anything about the actual item.
This is a factory original Delco 1969 Cutlass, F85, and 442 AM-FM mono (NOT stereo) radio. The product model number is 7307863, and the service model number is 93AFP1. It will also properly fit 1968 Cutlass and 442 (see last pic from the Hollander\'s Interchange Manual). It will NOT fit the big cars (88, 98) or Toronado. It is not correct for any other years. The knobs appear to be \'68 only Cutlass outer knobs, and \'68 big car (very similar to Cutlass) inner knobs, so it may have been in a \'68 Cutlass at some point. The right inner knob has a built in fader control for use with a rear speaker. Please do your own research beforeofferding to confirm that this radio is correct for your application, and feel free to contact me with any questions.
This is a decent looking radio. The chrome is shiny, with just a few small pits on the pushbuttons. The dial lens has a small blemish between the numbers 98 and 103, which probably won\'t be noticeable when in a car. The station indicator needle isn\'t badly faded as they often get. The black paint on the face has had some touch up to it, but looks pretty good. The knobs show some wear. Also included are the nuts that go on the shafts that hold the radio into the front of the dash. No other mounting hardware is included. I\'m also including a plug for power and front speaker, and for rear speaker, in case yours are missing.
This radio appears to have been dropped on it\'s side at some point, as some of the fins on the heat sink on the left side were badly bent. I\'ve straightened them as best as I could, but it\'s still noticeable. There\'s also some damage on the bottom cover near where the bottom mounting bracket attaches. There doesn\'t appear to be any noticeable damage inside the radio as a result of any of this (see pics of inside).
I\'ve bench tested this radio, and the dial light came on, but that\'s it, no sound. The on-off switch properly clicks on and off, and the pushbuttons and manual tuning operate properly.
I\'m selling this radio as-is as a NON-working radio, needing to be repaired or restored to work. I will guarantee it to be received as described.
All items are packed to allow room for plenty of padding. I guarantee you will NOT receive a damaged item (like many that I have bought). Buyer pays $18 for USPS ground advantage mail shipping. I ship within one working day of receipt of payment, and payment is due within 2 days of the sale.
Sorry, but due to past problems, no shipping outside the USA.
I\'ve been selling on since 1998. I always have and always will resolve any problem that arises. Please be sure to contact me if there is any problem, as I can\'t resolve a problem if I don\'t know about it. Thanks!
