This is a very good used 1981 Corvette Differential with Spicer Yokes and a Dana 44 Differential. This came off of my personal 1981 Corvette with 90,000 miles at the time of taking this off of my vehicle to upgrade it with something else. Nothing is wrong with it, just needs a new home.
I would definitely have the yoke seals replaced, it did leak a little bit when I last had it on my car. Luckily it's not a terribly hard task to do.
Will need new carrier bushings as well, again: a very simple task.
Gear pin is slightly worn as pictured, as to be seen on a used differential. Up to you if you want to replace it, there is also NO EXCESSIVE play in the end yokes. Its a very solid differential.
As pictured there is a jagged piece of aluminum on the carrier, somebody hit it with a hammer in the past. This does not affect the carrier in any way, just be forewarned that it is there.
The gear ratio on this is 2:87. Came off of my automatic transmission but will fit any 1980-1982 Corvette.
