In perfect structural condition! This gearcase is a pristine, 100% FRESHWATER take-off. It was pulled directly from a flawless running motor that had under 400 original hours on it. It has been stored safely in a clean, dry environment. The aluminum casing and lower skeg are completely intact with no welds, structural hair cracks, or heavy bottom impact damage. The driveshaft and prop shaft are perfectly straight, spinning smoothly by hand with no internal binding or gear grinding.
While it was pulled from a fully operating engine, we ALWAYS recommend draining the storage oil, refilling it with fresh high-performance marine gear lube, replacing the internal water pump impeller, and checking the pressure seals prior to final installation on your boat. Sold exactly as pictured.
