2004-2006 BMW X5 Xenon AFS Headlamp Set Genuine OEMItem DescriptionThis is for a complete pair of xenon with adaptive AFS (two modules) I removed from a 2005 X5 that was parted out due to blown engine. Upgrade from halogen to these xenons MAY be possible with programming of your LCM (please check with your BMW expert to make sure this can be done). Includes bottom body mount brackets.Please ask any questions PRIOR to purchase!Condition & Notes- Lens was refinished with 2K clear coat. Lens is shiny and clear, no cracks no craze. Originally these did have a light film of haze inside. I cleaned it up with a denatured alcohol swish which I've had luck with before. Cleaning came out pretty good, but not perfect. Left came out very good with minimal ghosting. The right also came out pretty good but does have a little bit more ghosting and streaking. Right headlamp has a few micro lens blemishes (picture with pencil pointing). Once installed and a few feet back they look great.- Left headlamp inner high beam area chrome shroud - slight staining and scratching from my alcohol swish that accidentally got in that area. I managed to clean most of it out and its hard to see unless you're up close looking at it. See picture.- Internals inspected, nice and solid. Both angel eye bulbs had only minor cracking on the wires. I patched up those spots with tesa tape. I handled other parts of the wires and the insulation held up. They start to crack when the angel eye bulb burns out and isn't replaced. I replaced them with new bulbs. No degrading behind the back cover. See pictures.- Osram Germany D2S bulbs / ballast are good. Turn signal and H1 bulbs are good. Shutter tested good. Angel eye bulbs are new factory incandescent.- No damage, no broken mounts.- Not perfect, but these are very hard to find in great shape. A great bench tested and cleaned up set I spent a lot of time on ready to install.Shipping Terms
