Up for sale is a brand new Patriot 128gb SSD hard drive with the Porsche PCM 3.1 stereo OS image pre-installed. Unlike other images for sale that mention they might not be able to restore your navigation maps, I have developed a solution that will restore all functionality, and is completely plug and play without needing to run the update dvd afterwards (which can cause your radio to go into “emergency update mode” and make it completely unusable and not repairable).
If you have a Porsche with the PCM 3.1 radio (all porsche models from 2010-2017), and it has recently began rebooting repeatedly, or if you all of a sudden lost your bluetooth functionality, and/or navigation functionality, you most likely have a failing hard drive, and need to replace it with a new, clean image to resolve this.
I have a computer science degree, Ive fixed over 80 of these radios locally, and have helped many owners on rennlist as well.
VERY IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING!!!! AFTER PURCHASE, SEND ME A MESSAGE WITH THE YEAR AND MODEL OF YOUR PORSCHE, AND A PICTURE OF YOUR PCM VERSION BY HOLDING THE SOURCE AND INFO BUTTONS AT THE SAME TIME, AND I ALSO NEED A PICTURE OF THE BLACK VIN STICKER IN THE DRIVER DOOR JAMB! I NEED THESE 2 PICTURES BEFORE I CAN SHIP!
LISTING PRICE IS FOR LATE 2013 to 2017 PORSCHE MODEL YEARS ONLY THAT HAVE THE SATA HDD. IF YOU HAVE A 2010-2013 PORSCHE I HAVE ANOTHER LISTING FOR THOSE MODELS. EASIEST WAY TO TELL IS, IF YOU HAVE THE JUKEBOX MEDIA OPTION, THEN THIS LISTING IS FOR YOU. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE JUKEBOX MEDIA OPTION, PLEASE SEE MY OTHER LISTING.
NAVIGATION MAPS WILL WORK ALL OVER THE WORLD AS LONG AS YOUR PORSCHE HAS A USA OR CANADA VIN NUMBER.
THIS IS THE ONLY SSD LISTING ON THAT IS COMPLETELY PLUG AND PLAY AND WILL RESTORE YOUR MAPS. PCM 3.1 SSD REPLACEMENTS AND PCM 3.1 CARPLAY INSTALLS ARE ALL I DO, SO I AM VERY EXPERIENCED WITH THIS RADIO.
