NOTE:
The LED strip is flexible, but CANNOT be folded, which will damage the circuit.
The LED strip can be installed in two ways:
Open the current light and put them inside. Specific care should be taken during operation.
1. Stick them with your 3M adhesive tape directly to the place that you used for DIY installation. Firm and durable 3M tape to finish the job, which is not included here.
2. Use the plastic Mounts and screws to install. All the exposure to the wire should be seal with silicone gel or other covering to keep away the water or rain.
We try our best to provide as much information as we could. But damage due to wrong operation is NOT covered here.
This light bar is waterproof, but can\'t be used underwater.
Warning: Need open the current light assembly to install them, We highly recommended completed installation by professional technicians.
How to install: You can apply this LED strip either outside of light or inside the light housing (this way will look a lot better). You could also trim the strips to re-size them to the length you prefer. It might require some professional skill to open up the headlight housing. You can search for some tutorial videos online.
How to connect the wire: To connect the wires is simple. First, connect the switch wire with the strip, then connect the black wire to the ground wire, red wire to your daytime running light power wire. The stripe require some sort amount of power, so if your daytime running light is a small bulb like T10 then you might consider connecting the red wire to your fog light which has more power. Lastly, connect the yellow wire to your turn signal power wire. Then, it should be fine.
