This is an original Ford steering gear which is correct for all 1965 1966 Mustang models with standard steering. Will not work on any power steering applications. This gear is the standard 19:1 ratio. The gear is smooth and tight with no roughness or looseness. No damage that I can see anywhere. All threads are good. I removed this many years ago from a junked car and have had it stored in the garage ever since, but since I have no need for it, would like to see it go to someone who can use it. As with all steering and brake parts it will need to be inspected and installed by a qualified steering, suspension and brake technician. This is a real nice unit and I\'m sure you will be happy with it. Buy with confidence! It will be shipped by UPS, so no PO boxes please.
