You will need to attach this to your frame. Very quick and simple and will screw in tight with some small self tappers in the factory rivet hole locations.Top Edge around HVAC opening and pull out cupholder opening have been reinforced with a thick coat of plastic weld on top edge and inside edge making this are MUCH thicker than it ever was from factory. We do this to every dash structure sold.
Behind the glovebox was also coated with some of the same plastic weld since there was some hairline cracking. This was applied in about 4 layers and smoothed out and color matched. Cant be seen since the glovebox covers everything up and is a solid permanent bond
