Inline resistor reduces 12 volt power to the correct alternator “on” signal voltage when not using an ECM. Must connect the wire to a switched power source.
Compatible with 105 amp alternators from 1997 and newer GM LS series engines with 4-terminal, flat alternator connector
Allows use of 105 amp alternator without 5v reference signal from the ECM
