This open box 600 watt inverter/charger has been tested and re-certifiedby Aims Power to be fully functional and correct operation. It was thought to be defective due to my miscalculationof required current draw that caused breakers to trip during operation. Unit was sent to Aims Power for inspection/repair and technicians reported no trouble found with operations. An email copy of the RMA testing results sentfrom Aims Power is included. Aims Power recommendedan upgrade to a 1500 watt inverter/charger for my application and thatcorrected the problem. So, this operational 600 wattinverter/charger is surplus and for sale at a much reduced price. It is basically brand new with includedaccessories minus the manual which is available on the Aims Power web site. It will be double box packed but not withoriginal boxes.Overview:
This 600 wattpure sine inverter charger ETL listed and conforms to UL 458 standards, is acombination of an inverter, battery charger and AC auto-transfer switch intoone complete system with a peak DC and AC conversion efficiency of 80%. It ispacked with unique features and it is one of the most advanced inverterchargers in the market today. It features power factor corrected, sophisticatedmulti-stage charging and pure sine wave output with unprecedentedly high surgecapability to meet demanding power needs of inductive loads without endangeringthe equipment.The AC/Batterypriority and auto generator start functionality make it suitable to work ineither backup power or renewable energy applications. When customized toBattery priority mode via a DIP switch, the inverter will extract maximum powerfrom external sources and renewable energy systems, with only minimal batterycycles being required. The overloads capacity is 300% of continuous output forup to 20 seconds to reliably support tools and equipment longer.
In AC prioritymode, when utility AC power cuts off, the transfer relay is de-energized andthe load is automatically transferred to the inverter output. Once thequalified AC utility is restored, the relay is energized and the load isautomatically transferred to AC utility.When switching tobattery priority mode via the DIP switch, the inverter will extract power fromexternal power sources in renewable energy systems and a minimal cycle of thebattery will be required.
