This is a robust new battery tray that replaces the flimsy and discontinued OEM part. Fully compatible with factory Panasonic batteries, and all direct-fit aftermarket batteries as well. Made of thick, durable ABS plastic, this battery tray will outlast any battery's lifespan many times over.
A broken battery tray can cause more issues than just a rattling trunk. If your battery shifts too far, the battery posts can come into contact with the tiedown bar or car body, causing it to short and wreak havoc on your electrical system. It can also put extra stress on the battery cables and terminals, causing them to fail prematurely. Keep your battery safe and secure!
Tray is made from acid proof high quality plastic, and replaces the Mazda part # NE51-56-041B.
