AirMass Ceramic Header for 1996-2000 Holley Honda Civic EX no Gasket or Screws
These are AirMass 80528 ceramic coated headers. Please note these headers do not come with gaskets or mounting screws -you will only receive what is shown in the pictures. These will fit the following vehicles only (do not buy these for any other vehicle):
We have inlcuded comparasion photos showing this #80528 next to a #80504 (compatbile with a 1994-2000 Acura - non-GSR) - Only purchase if you have a 1996-2000 Honda Civic (EX). Features include:
- 50 State legal C.A.R.B. EO. D-465 for 1996-1998 Civic models
- Triple-thick premium exterior ceramic coating
- CNC machine billet flange - no warping for a perfect fit
- Internal Flocote ceramic finish - increases horsepower by increasing exhaust flow through header
- Bifurcated 4-2-1 design - maximizes torque and horsepower
- 16-gauge mandrel bent tubing
- Heli-arc welded seams - for a clean look with no leaks
- DOES NOT include mounting bolts and O-Rings; if you are not able to reuse the bolts and gaskets at the engine and converter end of the header, you will need to purchase them separately as well
- Instructions are not included
Please Note: The AirMass instructions say to reuse the original bolts and gaskets - if you are not able to do this, you will need to purchase these parts separately. The oxygen sensor is mounted at the end of the lower pipe (see photos); you may need to extend the wiring harness on some vehicles (although several have written to say that they have been able to pull wiring from the existing harness). Breaking in an engine with ceramic coated headers WILL result in damage to the coating and will void all warranties. Ceramic coated headers require several heat cycles to fully cure before they will withstand extreme heat. Flowtech recommends using cast iron exhaust manifolds or old headers to break in new engines to avoid coating damage. Product Specifications
