Amal carburetor replacement alternative. Economical, bolt-on replacement for 28-30mm Amal Concentric and Monobloc carbs. Machine modified for replacement of stock Amal carbs for British bikes. Fits std. Amal 2" mounting bolt spacing using Amal gasket.
Needle and pilot settings have generous adjustment for specific tuning. Float bowl and carb top easily accessible. Cold start jet and tickler provided. Easy Amal throttle cable attachment with generous adjustment. Provides excellent, reliable idle, and smooth throttle response for most 350cc-500cc singles and 650cc-750cc twins.
These simple, robust, Russian carburetors are designed to be easily tuned and serviced in the field. Slide, jets, needle and float are accessible in-situ with a few basic tools and all gaskets are reusable. Like the old Amal's they are very adaptable to a wide range of applications. We have tested them on Triumph and BSA 650/750 twins, BSA 350, 441 and 500 singles, Enfield Bullets and Norton 500 singles.
