⚠ Important Installation Notes
• The BMW must have OEM Bluetooth hands-free installed in order to use the factory microphone. Otherwise an external microphone is required (not included).
• If a factory CD changer is fitted, it must be disabled or bypassed during installation.
• BMW E-Series platforms:
CD/MP3 coding may be required depending on the head unit. It is recommended to perform coding before installing MR12volt
• BMW F-Series platforms:
If no factory CD changer is fitted, "CD/MP3 coding is required"
MR12volt does not automatically activate the CD/MP3 option on F-Series vehicles.
