You are offerding on a remanufactured convertible top motor for BMWs e36/e46/e65. It was cleaned inspected and equipped with metal gears and specialized lubricant (see picture). These motors fail because a plastic gear inside breaks (see picture), even brand new motors by BMW fail eventually. This part will never fail and is a replacement part for life! I have remanufactured dozens of motors and never had a complaint. Tested.
DO NOT offer ON THIS ITEM IF YOUR MOTOR DOESN'T WORK AT ALL! The motor part almost never fails and mostly has something to do with switches and control modules. If you hear a grinding noise when you try to open or close the top, this motor is your solution.
