The valve and seal use a viton O-ring clamped in placed to prevent sticking or pulling out. The valve stem and guide are Teflon-lubricated and hard anodized for superior wear resistance. The V-band clamp makes install clean and simple. The banjo fitting is over-sized for faster actuator response. The actuator has a high temp silicone Nomex-reinforced diaphragm for extended life. While the BV50 comes with a 6PSI spring pre-installed, this kit includes a premium 2 PSI spring that has been meticulously calibrated to deliver optimal performance with BV50 and Q Series blow off valves in supercharged applications. The spring\'s carefully chosen rate ensures consistent valve operation at lower boost pressures, making it perfect for roots-style and centrifugal supercharger setups where immediate boost response and smooth operation are critical.
