HEAVY-DUTY OIL PUMP RUB REPAIR / CASE SAVERProtect your transfer case BEFORE the oil pump retainer arm wears through the case!This is a custom-fabricated Oil Pump Retainer / Pump Rub Case Saver designed specifically for the Borg Warner BW1356 transfer case. It can also be used with BW1370 and BW4401 transfer cases, although minor additional side clearancing may be required on BW1370/BW4401 applications.THE PROBLEMThe factory oil pump retainer arm can wear against the relatively soft transfer case housing. Over time, this can create a groove in the case and can eventually wear completely through the housing.THE SOLUTIONThis upgraded retainer incorporates a 1/2-inch-thick steel wear surface at the contact point. The larger, much more durable contact surface spreads the load from the oil pump arm and prevents it from continuing to wear into the transfer case housing.Each retainer is TIG welded on all three forward-facing surfaces and individually clearanced to fit the BW1356 transfer case.TRANSFER CASE FITMENT• Borg Warner BW1356 / 1356
