Overview & Build Process
Genuine factory 1M side indicators are permanently discontinued or subject to indefinite backorders. To solve this platform headache, these units are hand-fabricated using M-platform donor assemblies to replace obsolete OE part numbers 51138051601 and 51138051602.
These are custom, hand-shaped ABS assemblies crafted to replicate rare 1M side indicators. Paired with an included automotive bedding kit for a rigid, flush install. Built specifically for custom, widebody, and clone conversions.
Each set is individually trimmed, shaped, and test-fitted on a dedicated bench jig prior to packaging.
Installation & Bedding Kit (Included)
Because subtle curvature tolerances exist across OEM steel and aftermarket composite 1M fenders, we supply a complete closed-loop bedding kit for an exact, flush fit:
OEM-Spec Victor Reinz Reinzosil RTV Silicone: A brand-new, factory-sealed tube of professional-grade German RTV silicone sealant. Applying a continuous bead along the inner mounting flange cushions the housing, pulls it down flush to eliminate panel gaps, dampens road vibration, and blocks water intrusion.
Surface-Prep Alcohol Wipes: Included to properly degrease the fender recess for maximum adhesive bonding strength.
Heavy-Duty 8-Mil Nitrile Gloves: Diamond-textured, latex-free, and powder-free gloves to keep your hands and paint clean during application.
100% Reversible: Cures into a permanent, flexible automotive gasket that will not harm clear coats and peels away cleanly if removed down the road.

Custom Aftermarket Part: These are custom-crafted aesthetic indicator assemblies, not OEM BMW parts. Designed specifically for a clean, brace-less direct mount—factory retention brackets and clips are not used.
Complete Install Kit Included: Kit includes OEM-spec Reinzosil RTV, surface-prep alcohol wipes, and heavy-duty 8-mil nitrile gloves data-path-to-node="3,2,0">Crucial Cure Time: Follow the installation video closely. Tape/secure in place for 4–6 hours for initial set. You must allow a full 24 hours to cure before washing the car or driving at highway speeds.
