PRODUCT FEATURESThe DieselSite Wicked Wheel® 2 is designed to improve turbocharger efficiency and performance while fitting the existing compressor housing without modification.
The wheel is factory balanced, so turbo balancing after installation is not required according to the manufacturer.
INSTALLATION NOTESThis turbo uses a standard right-hand thread. To loosen the compressor wheel, turn it to the left.
The manufacturer recommends simply snugging the Wicked Wheel until it is fully seated rather than applying additional torque.
IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTEDo NOT use an impact wrench when changing turbo wheels. DieselSite warns that impact wrenches can cause stress fractures in the turbo shaft and may lead to failure.
For 1999–2003 models, DieselSite recommends continuing to use a wastegate to help avoid excessive boost.
For maximum stock turbo life, DieselSite recommends not exceeding 32 PSI of boost for extended periods.
