US MADE precision lazier cut This pair of adapter brackets will allow late Pontiac engines/blocks to fit the early 67-9 Firebirds, the 64-72 GTO Lemans Tempest and 59-70 Full size Pontiacs and Grand Prix.These brackets also allow the early 2 bolt engine/blocks to fit into the later Pontiacs You need to get the rubber engine mounts for the car you have - not the engine.You simply bolt the brackets to the block, then the 2 bolt or 3 bolt mounts will attach using 7/16 bolts and nuts. You can use factory engine/ motor mount bolts, but will require 4 more plus nuts.
I will post more pics soon. Some late Pontiac blocks will require grinding, or you can drill and tap the boss on 1 side.This can very confusing. Having the correct engine mounts and frame brackets are required. Do your homework!On 3 bolt mounts, you do not use the upper bolt. This causes no issuesThese brackets are thin enough to not effect the mounts from not fitting like others on the market, yet are strong enough for any application.
