This product is not plug and play, it's for Professional orAdvanced DIY mechanics. We supply the Tech help to make it work for you. Improper connection or failure to follow written instructions can result in damage to components and vehicle. These kits are not for High output alternators, they will not bring up low output voltage or low idle output, that is the alternator itself. Voltage regulators do not work at low engine RPM's. This combo External Voltage Regulator By-Pass Kit with Modified Driver w/plug used on 2006 and newer Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep and Volkswagen van that have a Denso type alternator with Black Plastic cover over the back and the plug pulls straight up or off to the side. This kit does not fit the MITSUBUSHI unit that does not have the black plastic cover over the back of the alternator.
