The bumper is constructed for extreme durability, utilizing heavy-duty 11-gauge (1/8-inch) steel plate for the main body, while the tubular structure is formed from 1.57" × 0.06" and 1.26" × 0.06" steel tubing. Its winch plate and mounting structure are made from robust 9-gauge (5/32 inch) steel, while the skid plate features 14-gauge (5/64 inch) stainless steel. Finished with a textured black powder coat and premium E-coating inside, it ensures maximum strength, corrosion resistance, and long-lasting performance.
Direct Bolt-on Installation. To install the ExplorerX Tube Front Bumper, begin by removing your vehicle’s factory bumper. Next, assemble the new bumper parts following the provided guide. Position the bumper onto the vehicle’s frame, ensuring proper alignment. Make any necessary adjustments for an accurate fit. Once aligned, secure the bumper by tightening all bolts firmly using basic tools such as a ratchet and socket.
