The GrimmSpeed 380006 Tallboy Shift Knob is the tall, bold evolution of GrimmSpeed's popular shift knob lineup — designed for enthusiasts who want a more ergonomic shift position without going to a full short-throw kit. At 5.5" tall, the Tallboy is nearly double the height of GrimmSpeed's classic models, bringing the shift point 35% closer to the steering wheel for faster, more natural gear changes. The Delrin/Duracon construction keeps it lightweight at just 0.325 lbs, staying comfortable in all seasons without the temperature sensitivity of metal or stainless steel.

The M12x1.25 thread fits a wide range of manual Subaru WRX and STI models, BRZ, Scion FR-S, and Toyota 86 platforms. Note that this knob is not compatible with the 2022+ Subaru BRZ or Toyota GR86 (ZD8/ZN8) factory reverse lockout design. For 5-speed WRX owners, the optional Shift Boot Retainer (p/n 038008) is recommended to keep the shift boot in place after installation. Aluminum versions in Black, Red, and Neon Green are also available in the Tallboy lineup (p/n 380007, 380008, 380009).
