Benefits of a composite pod
- ability to dissipate resonances as the material is damped very well compared to metal.
- For midranges and widebands, I optimize the internal structure to squeeze out internal volume, and to also dissipate additional standing waves while retaining a well structured housing.
- You can achieve special shapes like this thanks to additive manufacturing unlike subtractive manufacturing where you cannot achieve internal volume optimized shapes while retaining a smaller overall footprint without spending thousands on very expensive tooling.
- I take a high attention to detail on the exterior as well as the performance of the pod from a tonality standpoint as well.

-———— INSTALL TIPS—————
1. Find a flat point on the A pillar or sail panel to ensure proper seating of the washers can be achieved.
2. Use loc tite as much as possible
3. Use vice grips and a towel. Minor scratching may occur so please keep this in mind
4. There is a port like hole on the back of joint area of the stud and swivel. You can seal this up to prevent port noise from occurring, the frequency response will not be altered much as confirmed by RTA
5. Understand that you are liable for your own install as these are somewhat DIY oriented. It is easy to install but you must have a basic understanding of washers and tightening nuts. Please contact me if you need help! I can NOT accept returns for install issues as lots of customers and I have validated that they install properly.
