I purchased this climate control assembly used several years ago as a potential replacement for my personal Mercedes-Benz 560SL.
The unit was represented as operational when I originally purchased it. However, I never personally verified its electrical operation.
After further diagnosis, I discovered that the problem with my vehicle was unrelated to the climate control unit. Consequently, I never needed to install this replacement.
It has remained in my personal automotive parts collection ever since.
I HAVE NEVER INSTALLED OR TESTED THIS UNIT.
Because I cannot verify its current electrical condition, I am selling it strictly AS IS, UNTESTED, FOR PARTS OR REPAIR.
I make absolutely no representation or guarantee regarding its electrical functionality.
The unit may work properly, may require repairs, or may be useful only for components or rebuilding.
PHYSICAL CONDITION
Based on visual and manual inspection:
• All climate control push-buttons are present.
• Buttons mechanically engage and release properly.
• Temperature adjustment wheel is present and rotates.
• Blower motor control buttons are present.
• Electrical terminals appear intact.
• Original mounting brackets are present.
• Mercedes-Benz identification numbers are visible.
• ProgRama remanufacturing identification label is attached.
• Normal cosmetic wear, scratches, dust, and discoloration from age and storage.
The ProgRama label indicates that the unit was previously associated with a professional remanufacturing program. However, I cannot verify its service history or current operating condition.
