For sale is an original Mercedes-Benz burl walnut interior wood trim panel designed to surround the factory automatic climate control / air conditioning and heating control assembly in the center dashboard of late-production R107 SL models.
This is an original Mercedes-Benz wood trim component, NOT an aftermarket adhesive overlay, imitation wood, or reproduction.
The panel has been part of my personal collection of Mercedes-Benz spare parts for many years.
It retains its attractive natural burl walnut grain and glossy finish. Although the clear coat shows age-related cracking and cosmetic imperfections, the underlying wood appears solid and complete.

This original Mercedes-Benz interior wood trim panel has been stored in my personal automotive parts collection for many years.
It is a used, approximately 40-year-old component showing normal aging and cosmetic deterioration.
KNOWN COSMETIC IMPERFECTIONS:
• Several visible cracks in the clear-coat finish.
• Age-related surface wear and imperfections.
• Minor scratches and finish discoloration.
• Cosmetic deterioration around some openings.
• Normal signs of age and previous use.
WOOD CONDITION
the underlying wooden structure remains solid and intact.
I have not observed any broken or missing sections of the actual wood.
The visible cracking appears primarily associated with the aged clear finish. However, I cannot guarantee that every crack is limited exclusively to the clear coat.
The panel is being sold in its present condition, exactly as photographed.
