- Dual-port design supports advanced boost control strategies (manual or electronic controllers)
- Spring pressure note: On a dual-port actuator, base spring pressure is measured using the bottom port only with the top port vented. Based on OBX’s typical assemblies, this actuator is generally built with a low base spring around ~7 psi (reference only).
- Real-world boost varies depending on plumbing (top port use), preload, and boost controller strategy
- Rod length: approx. 4.35 in measured closed, center-to-center (reference dimension)
- Adjustable rod for setting proper preload during installation
- Universal fitment: intended for custom applications, not vehicle-specific compatibility
- Best practice: as with all wastegate actuators, it’s standard practice to verify opening pressure during installation to match the specific setup
